Nonprofits To Share $200,000 In Television Airtime

October 15, 2012, 6:26 PM

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

KELOLAND TV will donate $200,000 in airtime to nonprofit organizations in 2013.

The Avera Tradition of Caring in KELOLAND grant program will award grants to local nonprofit organizations to provide education and awareness of their organization.

Earlier this year, KELOLAND TV partnered with Avera Health System for “The Avera Tradition of Caring in KELOLAND” continuing and growing the program that began in 1998.  Now both great organizations will work together in meeting the core goal of helping others in the community.

In 2012, 11 organizations benefited from the grant program.

Nonprofit organizations can apply for a grant on www.keloland.com.  KELOLAND TV will determine the number of grants awarded and the amount of each grant.  Grant guidelines can be found on the grant application.  The application deadline is November 9, 2012.
