Authorities are probing what caused the death of a Sisseton man whose body was found near a fire scene last week.
A statement from Attorney General Marty Jackley's office says the Roberts County sheriff is investigating the death of 59-year-old Murray Hill.
Hill's body was found last Tuesday when local firefighters were called to a fire in rural Roberts County. The state criminal investigation division and the South Dakota fire marshal are taking part in the probe.
Jackley's statement said an autopsy was done on Hill's remains and that authorities are waiting for the final results.
