Authorities Release Name Of Woman Killed In Fire
MITCHELL, SD -

Authorities have released the name of the woman killed in a trailer home fire in Mitchell Saturday morning.

Fifty-nine-year-old Cheryl Roop, who was a resident of the trailer, died in the fire.

Officials got the call shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday and arrived on the scene to a fully engulfed trailer home on West 2nd avenue.

Three people, identified as Roop's adult daughter, infant granddaughter and another male were able to escape. They're currently at Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.

The trailer was a total loss and as of now, the fire is considered non-suspicious.
