A fire that started Friday afternoon north of the town of Pukwana, South Dakota is fully contained as of Friday night.
Chamberlain Fire Chief Gary Dominiack says the fire burned between 600 and 800 acres.
Dominiack says they believe the fire started from a truck throwing out sparks, possibly from a bad wheel bearing, on a highway north of Pukwana.
A few homes were threatened at the time the fire was burning, but only one small structure was lost to the blaze.
It took crews about two and a half hours to fully contain the fire.
