Skies will remain mostly clear this evening and tonight with the only exception being in western South Dakota. The Hills of western KELOLAND can expect partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall to near forty in eastern KELOLAND to near fifty in Rapid City. Light winds will continue.
Thursday will be mostly sunny and warm in eastern KELOLAND with highs in the middle to upper seventies. Clouds will be a little thicker in central South Dakota, but we’re still forecasting highs in the lower eighties for Pierre. Western South Dakota will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered light showers and highs only in the middle seventies. Winds will remain at five to fifteen miles per hour in the east, but they’ll be a little stronger in central and western South Dakota, on the order of ten to twenty.
Isolated showers will still be possible in the west on Friday; otherwise KELOLAND will stay dry through the weekend and into next week. Highs this weekend will warm to near eighty in eastern KELOLAND to the low and middle eighties in central and western South Dakota.
