Storm Center Update-Tuesday AM

September 25, 2012, 6:15 AM by Brian Karstens

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The weather patterns remain quiet this morning with temperatures starting the day in the mid to upper 40s under mostly clear skies.

It will be a little cooler in eastern KELOLAND compared to yesterday, when highs reached the lower 80s in many areas.

The planner for Sioux Falls shows temperatures climbing to 70 at noon, with 73 at 5pm and northeast winds at 5-10mph.

The pattern looks very quiet the rest of the week with only a slight chance of rain across the west by Thursday and early Friday.  Highs will be in the 70s with lows mainly in the 40s through the 7-day forecast.  There are no major storms ahead and no improvement in the drought.
