SDSMT Remembers President Wharton
RAPID CITY, SD -

Students, faculty and staff at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology will remember the school's President Monday who died last week.

A memorial service is scheduled for Robert Wharton under of the university's original iconic arch Monday at 2 p.m.

Governor Dennis Daugaard along with members of the South Dakota Board of Regents are expected to attend.  A Lakota drum group will also perform an honor song.

Wharton was 60-years-old.
