This evening will be cool but not quite as cold as we had this morning. Clear skies and a very quiet pattern continue for much of the coming week though more clouds could try and move in late week.
Overnight, most will bottom out near 40, with Aberdeen and the northeast again the coldest. With light winds and crystal-clear skies the plunge will start just after sunset.
Tomorrow will be a lot warmer. We will be up near 80 West River with a few wispy clouds. You can expect middle 70s in the northeast and close to 80 near Sioux Falls.
Sunny skies continue their choke-hold on our forecast through Tuesday. There will be light showers in eastern Wyoming on Tuesday but the thinking is that they won’t cross into South Dakota.
The only other big weather story this week is a slim chance for rain Thursday night into Friday morning for the southeast. Most of that moisture stay south of Sioux Falls, though. Some computer models try to put light showers in the Hills around the same time, but the chance is low.
