Small Crowd Fills Verizon Store For iPhone 5

Some people in Sioux Falls got up a little earlier than usual so they could get in line and get their hands on the new iPhone 5.

More than 20 people filled a Verizon store in Sioux Falls just three minutes after it opened Friday morning.

This latest iPhone is 4G and it's thinner in size.

Despite the iPhone frenzy in some places, there were no signs of pushing and shoving in Sioux Falls.

The line, I was lined up to about two stores down and people were very calm and joking around and getting the iPhone.  It was a lot of fun," Trisha VanZanten said.

Verizon employees wouldn't say how many i-Phones were sold or how many are in stock locally, but as of Friday morning, no one left empty handed.
