Childrey Sentenced To 15 Years For Selling Meth

Childrey Sentenced To 15 Years For Selling Meth
Nicholas Childrey

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Authorities call him a high-level meth dealer.  Now, Nicholas Childrey will spend the next 15 years in prison.

The 33-year-old man sold meth over the last year and a half.  When police caught up to him last April, they found ten containers of meth, a 9 millimeter hand gun and $4,500 cash.

Authorities believe Childrey was selling and using the drug.

Childrey apparently turned to meth after suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after serving in Iraq and witnessing his best friend kill himself.

Minnehaha County State's Attorney Aaron McGowan says he can't recall a bigger meth bust than this.
