SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A Sioux Falls man has been arrested after an overnight stabbing.

28-year-old Dawson Schunk, who's described by police as a transient, was arrested at the Get N Go gas station at the corner of 14th Street and Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Police say around 2 a.m., Schunk cut a 58-year-old Sioux Falls man's left wrist. Authorities say the stabbing happened in the 200 block of South Duluth Avenue.  The victim then went to the Get N Go and asked employees to call police.
