Woman, 3 Daughters Hospitalized After House Explosion
TRACY, MN -

A mother and her three young daughters remain hospitalized following a house explosion in southwestern Minnesota.

Regions Hospital said Monday Sonja Timmons and her 8-year-old daughter, Kaylee, are in critical condition. Timmons' 2-year-old daughter, MKena, is in serious condition and her 2-month old daughter, Jaydn, is in good condition.

The cause of the explosion in Tracy Saturday morning is still under investigation.

Neighbors Matt and Sheena Schons came to the aid of the family following the explosion and fire. While Sheena called 911, Matt Schons ran across the street, into the house and rescued the baby. Sonja Timmons and her other two daughters had already made it outside the house.

Tracy Fire Chief Dale Johnson says the house is a total loss.

This article has been revised to reflect the following correction:
The wrong time of day was given for when the explosion happened. It's been corrected to reflect that it happened in the morning, not Saturday evening as first reported in this Associated Press story.
