Scheels Donates $750,000 To New Ice Facility
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A Sioux Falls ice facility is receiving a major boost from Scheels.

The Ice Sports Association announced a substantial donation toward its efforts to build a new community ice facility. Scheels has donated $750,000 to the project and is the title sponsor. The new facility will now be called the SCHEELS IcePlex.

The announcement comes on the heels of an action by the Sioux Falls city council Tuesday night, approving a $1.5 million donation next year.

The complex is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.
