SD Teen Brings Mobile Shower Stalls To Oil Field

September 4, 2012, 12:10 PM

LAKE PRESTON, SD -

With thousands of new people flocking to the Bakken Oil fields in North Dakota, there are plenty of opportunities to make money.  And a South Dakota teenager found one of them.

Evan Jensen of Lake Preston is an entrepreneur in every sense of the word.   He made a trip to the Bakken region this year and left with several ideas.  He especially noticed that numerous household necessities are in high demand in the area.  That's when he decided to make a trailer complete with five shower stalls.

"This little project is the start of it all. By no means is it the only project it is just a kick-off thing to maybe make a little money for future deposits in other investments," Jensen said.

And part of that investment is paying for his schooling in music.  He charges $10 per shower.
