Sanford Proposes Expanding Sioux Falls Footprint

Sanford Proposes Expanding Sioux Falls Footprint
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Sioux Falls City Council is preparing to vote on plans that could allow a Sanford Health expansion in the city.

The hospital system has presented a rezoning plan that would affect five blocks directly east of its main Sioux Falls campus.  It owns all but about a dozen properties in the area.

If the rezoning is approved, the area could house more parking spaces, along with new clinic and testing facilities.

We'll look at the possible growth tonight on KELOLAND News.
