Rain sticks around through much of today in the east. Most showers will be fairly light, though, and much of the week looks dry. Many will see continued cool weather, in Sioux Falls the coolest temperatures thus far this summer. With clearing skies and high pressure building in, Rapid City will be warmer but will be breezy.
Rains start heading southeast out of North Dakota in a little bit. While much of this will head into Minnesota, some will move down I-29. Much of the rain will be out of our area by the evening.
Overnight, a clearing trend starts. That brings in more sunshine for tomorrow and warmer temperatures. A very stray storm could develop in far western South Dakota late tomorrow evening. It is not a good enough chance to include in the western forecast at the moment.
A decent cold front comes in around Wednesday. Much cooler air comes in on Thursday. Late Wednesday into Thursday there is a rain chance but future computer model runs still need to come into better model agreement. Thursday and Friday should be in the middle 70s for many again.
Friday and Saturday look fairly sunny for many.
