Minnehaha Co. Commission To Discuss Drought
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Minnehaha County Commission will discuss taking action to request financial help for ranchers and farmers impacted by the current drought.

Minnehaha County Emergency Manager Lynn DeYoung is expected to address the county commission Tuesday morning to discuss applying for federal disaster relief.

The county must first pass a resolution declaring the county a disaster before asking for state and federal aid.

KELOLAND News will be at Tuesday's meeting to bring you the details.
