A father-daughter tandem has captured the two Republican nominations in a South Dakota House district.
Rep. Jenna Haggar and her dad, Don Haggar, are the top two vote-getters in the race for a pair of nominations for District 10. The two had campaigned together.
Former Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson was edged out of the race by the elder Haggar.
Jenna Haggar, a chiropractic assistant, has served in the House the past two years, representing District 15.
The Haggars will appear on the November ballot with two Democratic candidates, with the top two vote-getters heading to Pierre.
