SMG, Ovations Recommended For Events Center Contracts

SMG, Ovations Recommended For Events Center Contracts
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A committee recommends the Sioux Falls City Council pick SMG to manage the Events Center, with a food and beverage contract going to Ovations.

The recommendations come from committee members who reviewed applications and researched all of the companies interested in overseeing the new facility.  In addition, consultants also helped the group to come to its decision.  The recommendations are for five-year contracts.

Next will come a contract negotiation process.  The city council has the final say in what company will manage the Events Center.

KELOLAND's Brady Mallory will have more on what went into the decision on KELOLAND News at 6.
