We’re having a chilly start in eastern KELOLAND with temperatures in the thirties this morning, but it’s slightly warmer in central and western South Dakota due to light south winds. Later today, temperatures will jump to the seventies in eastern and central KELOLAND with lower eighties in western South Dakota. Winds will stay fairly light with speeds of five to fifteen miles per hour. The warmth will continue for Tuesday with widespread highs in the eighties.
The heat will be short lived with cooler air moving in on Wednesday, highs will fall to the sixties and seventies (which is still above average). The cooler weather will also give KELOLAND a slight chance for showers and storms. Thursday will be dry, but another hit of cool and wet weather will return Friday and into the weekend. Highs this coming weekend will be slightly below average with numbers in the fifties and low sixties.
