Restaurants Raise Nearly $6K For Crash Victim
Iszabella Morgan

Taco John's restaurants in Mitchell and Sioux Falls' Empire Mall have raised nearly $6,000 for a memorial fund for a 9-year-old girl killed last month in a car crash.

On Wednesday night, cars lined up for blocks at the Mitchell restaurant in support of Iszabella Morgan. The restaurants donated 50 percent of their sales from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., signing over a check for $5,775.23.

Operations manager Ted Miller says the lines were the craziest thing he's seen in 26 years.

A Mitchell man has been charged with first-degree manslaughter, drunken driving and eluding in the March 24 crash, which killed Morgan and injured two adults and three children in a sport utility vehicle.
