SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The widows of two men who died in a South Dakota plane crash in December are keeping alive their husbands' dream of making science fun for kids.
Dan Swets, Kevin Anderson and Joshua Lambrecht all were volunteers with the FIRST LEGO League, a youth robotics competition. The three men were killed in a plane crash on their way to Rapid City for a league meeting. Pilot Brian Blake also was killed.
Shortly after the crash, Swets' wife, Robyn, and Anderson's wife, Cindy, announced they would continue their husbands' work in the league.
On Saturday, about 500 students from across the state will gather for the league championship at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. A video tribute to the three men will be played during the opening ceremonies.
