RAPID CITY, SD -
A man whose family is in the process of moving from Billings, Mont., to Rapid City has claimed a lottery jackpot in South Dakota worth nearly $257,000.
Dave Yuhas says he's "thrilled and thankful" to pocket the winnings from Saturday's drawing in the Wild Card 2 game. He collected the money Tuesday and says he'll use it to pay off debt and finish relocating.
Yuhas is a certified public accountant with a wife and three daughters. He says he usually buys a lottery ticket when the jackpot starts to rise.
The odds of winning the jackpot in the game that's played in the Dakotas, Montana and Idaho is one in about 360,000. The jackpot is now back to $100,000.
