HURON, SD -
The Huron City Commission has voted to revoke the liquor license for a bar whose owner is accused of rape.
34-year-old Werner Fajardo of Sioux Falls is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl and two 14-year-old girls at his El Cuervo bar in Huron. He has been charged with six counts of rape and several counts of providing alcohol to minors. Fajardo has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
At a public hearing on Friday, the city commission voted to revoke the bar's liquor license. The final decision on whether to do that will be made by the state Secretary of Revenue.
