Gas Leak In North Central KELOLAND
August 4, 2011, 10:17 PM
Authorities are currently on the scene of a natural gas leak in Bowdle in north central KELOLAND.
The Emergency Manager says the gas leak is about one mile north of town, about one thousand feet from the closest highway. An Intrastate Pipeline was hit just south of the golf course around nine Thursday evening, sending gas shooting into the air.
The fire department, local law enforcement and the gas company are on scene and the road is blocked off.
Officials say a farmer was out doing dirt work and damaged the line.
