MN Rest Stops Closed

HILLS, MN -
State lawmakers in Minnesota have failed to come to an agreement on the state budget, forcing a government shutdown overnight.
That means drivers headed east out of KELOLAND along Interstate 90 will find rest stops in Minnesota are closed.
Barricades at the entrances were up already early Friday morning, not allowing drivers onto the property.
Because of the government shutdown, around 22,000 people employed by the state will not go to work Friday.
Another 10,000 employees deemed essential will work throughout the shutdown, including the Highway Patrol and Department of Natural Resources.
