43rd Annual Summer Special Olympics Games

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Washington High school’s track was filled with athletes from all around the state that came to participate in the 43rd annual Special Olympics South Dakota summer games.
The games began this morning with the male 16+ shot put. Games varied from standing long jump, wheelchair relays, softball throw, tennis throw, high jump, various dashes and relays.
Although the ground was squishy and wet, all games were played.
Opening ceremonies began on Thursday and continued through Saturday.
