Campbell Soup Company is recalling 15 million pounds of Spaghetti Os with meatballs after a cooker malfunctioned at one of the company's plants in Texas, leaving the meat undercooked.
A company spokesman says they're recalling certain lots of the product manufactured since December of 2008 out of quote "an abundance of caution." That's because officials don't know exactly when the cooker malfunctioned. Officials believe it happened recently, but aren't sure.
The recall includes Spaghetti Os with Meatballs, Spaghetti Os A to Z with Meatballs, and Spaghetti Os Fun Shapes with Meatballs
The USDA says there are no reports of anyone getting sick.
The second recall involves another popular quick meal.
Con Agra is recalling Marie Callender's cheesy chicken and rice frozen meals
after hearing from federal health officials that they could be linked to a salmonella outbreak that's sickened 29 people in 14 states, including two cases in Minnesota.
The recall covers all meals labeled "Marie Callender's Cheesy Chicken and Rice White Meat Chicken and Broccoli over Rice Topped with Rich Cheddar Sauce." And it doesn't matter when they were made.
