State Preparing For Heavy Primary

South Dakota voters have the distinction of casting ballots in the latest primary election in the country this year, and a state official says it may be very important in terms of the presidential selection process.
Secretary of State Chris Nelson says the June third primary could draw national attention if the race for the Democratic nomination between Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama is a dead heat.
Nelson says he's preparing for a major turnout in the South Dakota primary. Hillary Clinton already has requested a listing on the state ballot. The deadline to do so is March 25th.
