Rounds Continues To Support Huckabee
March 4, 2008, 7:22 AM
Governor Rounds says he continues to support Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee, who is the former governor of Arkansas.
Huckabee continues to trail U.S. Senator John McCain of Arizona in the race for the GOP nomination, and some are questioning if he'll continue the campaign if he doesn't do well in today's presidential primaries.
Rounds was among Huckabee's first supporters. Rounds says he met with McCain last month during the National Governor's Association meeting in Washington.
The South Dakota governor says McCain understands that people want to see results from the government, and he knows that states usually get results while the federal government doesn't.
