Hawaii, Wisconsin Expect Heavy Turnout

Hawaii, Wisconsin Expect Heavy Turnout
A tight Democratic presidential race has led to predictions of the highest turnout in 20 years for today's Wisconsin primary.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton claims experience makes her a better candidate for the White House, while Barack Obama has continued to push his message of hope on the Wisconsin campaign trail.

On the Republican side, Mike Huckabee has continued to push his longshot bid for the presidency. Huckabee has been urging conservatives to help him defeat the front-runner, Senator John McCain.

The former Arkansas governor is vowing that his campaign will go on even if he loses today. Meanwhile, McCain has picked up a major endorsement from former President Bush. His campaign has focused on the uniting the party behind him during appearances throughout the state.

Today's weather in Wisconsin will be cold but no snow storms are in the forecast.

Democratic Party officials in Hawaii are predicting a heavy turnout in today's presidential caucuses. Twenty delegates are at stake in the tight race between Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Obama's half-sister has been making daily appearances for her brother, while Chelsea Clinton spent the weekend in Hawaii to push her mother's candidacy.

Chelsea Clinton visited the University of Hawaii, where a political science professor says she can't recall the state ever getting this much attention from national candidates.

Obama was born in Hawaii and graduated from one of its high schools. However, Clinton has the support of labor unions and Hawaii Senator Daniel Inouye.
