Bill Would Make Government Information Available

South Dakotans could have more access to information about their government.
A new bill introduced this legislative session would create a Web site for information on state government salaries, payment to businesses, equipment purchases, and other financial data.
Sioux Falls representative Hal Wick says people should be able to find out what's going on in their government by going to one place.
Wick says other states have created similar systems for about $40,000.
