Sturgis Man Sentenced To Life For Sex Crimes

A Sturgis man has been sentenced to life in prison for sex crimes against a child.
A Meade County judge gave Denny Tew the maximum sentence. The 38-year-old was arrested in March. He pleaded guilty to criminal pedophilia for his involvement with a 7-year-old girl two years ago.
A separate charge involving another girl was dropped after Tew pleaded guilty. He's not eligible for parole.
