Many Myrtle Fire Evacuees Allowed Home

Many Myrtle Fire Evacuees Allowed Home

It's been a weekend of intense firefighting in the Black Hills. But it's paying off for crews battling the Myrtle Fire near Pringle.

It's burned about 10,000 acres and is now 40 percent contained.

Crews had to evacuate about 250 homes.  But many of those people are able to go back home after the evacuation order was lifted Monday morning. Properties along the Argyle road still have to stay away from the area.

The historic Williams Ranch lost some buildings to the fire.  We'll tour the ranch today and bring you that story today on KELOLAND News.
