Firefighters in the Black Hills are battling multiple new wildfire fires Thursday.
The hot, dry conditions are fueling the flames and forcing one state highway to close.
The Myrtle fire has crossed Highway 385 at the old Rifle Pit campground. As a result, State Highway 385 is closed between Pringle and Wind Cave National Park.
State, Federal, and local fire fighters are on scene and aggressively fighting the fire. Five structures are potentially threatened. Law enforcement is on scene managing traffic.
