We'll keep a dry forecast running through the next seven days with a slow warm trend later next week.
This evening, very light showers persist from the Badlands, south of Pierre and off towards Summit. Basically, no one is getting more than a few hundredths of an inch. After sunset, this should wane quickly. Cloud cover looks to stay just around I-90 and points south through tomorrow. A new round of showers moves from Canada southwards towards NE KELOLAND tomorrow. Despite the drizzle chance in Aberdeen, I have left Brown County dry in your forecast.
From there on out, there are really minimal organized shower chances going. Wednesday through Friday will be the warmest of the week. With that comes slim chances of rain Friday and Saturday (isolated showers are possible Thursday in Rapid City, too).
Overall, a quiet forecast as drought concerns become more pressing.
