The South Dakota Revenue Department is providing a report on the Internet to identify those who are delinquent in paying state business taxes.
The report was authorized by a law passed by this year's South Dakota Legislature.
State business tax director Jan Talley says the website will help the state's efforts to collect delinquent taxes. Talley says tax revenue is the main source of funding for vital public services, and those who fail to pay those taxes put an extra burden on remaining taxpayers to support those services.
The department will list people who owe state sales tax, use tax, tourism tax, contractor's excise tax, vehicle leasing tax and telecommunications gross receipts tax.
The report will list the 100 taxpayers who owe the most, along with how much they owe.
