Fire In Fall River County Spreading Fast
EDGEMONT, SD -

A fire in the Black Hills is spreading fast.

The White Draw fire began Friday afternoon when a mobile home pulled by a truck caught fire on Highway 18, about five miles northeast of Edgemont.

The call came in around four p.m. mountain time and in only a couple hour officials say it had burned 150 acres after spreading to nearby grass and trees.

A firefighter on the scene tells us, it appears to be much larger than 150 acres now.

In addition to local crews, two helicopters are on the scene, as well as firefighters from Nebraska and South Dakota.
