A 24-year-old juvenile detention staffer, who also plays football for the Sioux Falls Storm, has been arrested.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says Lorenzo Brown, Junior was arrested Friday on one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of contributing to the abuse, neglect or delinquency of a child. Jackley says the state Division of Criminal Investigation was asked to conduct the inquery because the allegations involved a staff member of the Minnehaha Juvenile Detention Center. The exploitation charge carries a maximum punishment of two years in prison.
Sioux Falls Storm owner Todd Tryon told KELOLAND News that Brown is suspended indefinitely and will not play in Saturday's first round playoff game against the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. Any future action is pending the legal process.
