Gov. Dennis Daugaard is speaking to a delegation on Saturday from China at an event in Vermillion.
The 10 a.m. speech is at the University of South Dakota's Farber Hall at the inaugural American Visiting Institute for Chinese Real Estate Entrepreneurs.
The visit comes a month after Daugaard was part of a trade mission to China last month to learn about export opportunities.
The governor has said that other business leaders and officials from overseas may be invited to South Dakota's Pheasant Hunt or Buffalo Roundup in the future.
