SF Church Adding Early Childhood Center

April 14, 2012, 6:38 PM by Jon Berg

SF Church Adding Early Childhood Center
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

It may be early for some to be thinking about where they'll send their kids to daycare next fall, but one church in Sioux Falls held an open house for parents to get a first hand look at their new facility.

Good Shepard Lutheran Church on the corner of 57th and Southeastern is in the process of adding a new Early Childhood Center.

The $1.2 million dollar facility will be able to care for 135 children all the way from infant to preschool age.

"Being able to reach out at such an early age to the children and families I think is what is such a blessing to the church," Rachel Nass said.

The Center will have two rooms each for infants, toddlers and preschool children.

The facility is expected to open on August 22.

For more information on Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s expansion visit their Facebook page.
