Two Men Hurt In Rapid City Scaffolding Fall

February 28, 2012, 3:23 PM

RAPID CITY, SD -

Authorities say two men are seriously injured after the scaffolding they were working on in Rapid City fell.

The men were working at the Grand Gateway Hotel at about 10:30 a.m. on Monday when they fell about 30 feet into an empty pool.

Rapid City Fire Department spokesman Brent Long says the scaffolding tipped over and the men rode it to the ground.

Police spokesman Tarah Heupel says emergency crews responded and took the workers to Rapid City Regional Hospital. Conditions were not available.
