Love Is In The Air

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
In this day and age finding love can happen just about anywhere and the internet is probably one of the newest ways. But now, it's being taken to new heights.
It's one of our most basic needs, which is probably why these days there are so many different ways to find that loving feeling.
Marriage and family therapist Kristiana Benson says it's usually for very similar reasons that we want this.
"I'm tired of being alone. I want adult connection. I want adult conversation," Benson said.
Love can be found anywhere from work to the internet to even an airplane. You never know who you're going to sit next to. And you never know where those conversations will lead you. But one website is trying to reconnect you with the one in the air.
It's called WeMetOnAPlane.com. And to say it's getting mixed reaction would be an understatement.
"Yea, maybe; I mean we meet people everywhere so why not find out more about them," Grace Howard said.
"I don't like it. If I wanted to give somebody my information, I certainly would. But the fact that they can access it without me giving permission at all, I don't like it." Mary Fletcher Said.
The website allows you to put in flight information and find out who was sitting next to you. The site is filled with stories of people looking for that specific someone.
Benson says sites such as this one do work, but you must be cautious.
"I think there is validity in these websites, but a person has to be very, very, very careful," Benson said.
Benson also says when logging onto these sites, be careful what you post because not all websites are safe and reputable.
