Highway 83 Bridge Closed At White River Due To Flooding
Submitted to uShare Photo Gallery by Bailey

WHITE RIVER, SD - Water is flowing over a bridge in southern KELOLAND and it's now closed to traffic.

The Mellette County Sheriff's Office says the Big White River north of the town of White River is overflowing. The bridge on Highway 83 was closed shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say chunks of ice flowing to the bridge caused the flooding.

You can see just how high the water was to the bridge earlier in the day in the attached pictures, which was submitted to our uShare Photo Gallery.
