SD Soldier To Appear With Oprah

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
A South Dakota National Guard soldier who was seriously injured while serving in Iraq will be part of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Thursday.
The Guard said Corey Briest and his wife Jenny will appear on a show that honors military members and their families.
Briest suffered traumatic brain injuries and blindness in December 2005 when a roadside bomb exploded in Baghdad while he was serving with the National Guard's 147th Field Artillery.
The Briests live in Yankton.
