Large Hail Does Damage In Vivian

July 23, 2010, 7:09 PM by Karen Sherman

Large Hail Does Damage In Vivian
VIVIAN, SD - Severe storms moving across South Dakota left behind damage in the Vivian area.

At the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop off of Interstate 90, a handful of vehicles were damaged by large hail. An employee counted eight cars and trucks that had windows broken out by the hail. Minor injuries were reported also.

There have been reports of tornadoes associated with this storm.  Hail and wind are also likely. In addition, because the strongest storms should be slow movers, there may be locally heavy rain.

Stay with KELOLAND.com and KELO-TV for updates as the storm moves across the area.
