Work Begins On Part Of 21st Street
July 13, 2010, 8:04 AM
SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Starting Tuesday morning, a chunk of road that runs through a historic Sioux Falls neighborhood will be shut down for repairs.
Sioux Falls engineers say construction work will start on a three-block stretch of 21st Street. It's happening on the north-side of the McKennan Park neighborhood, between Second Avenue and Fifth Avenue. Keep in mind 21st Street also leads directly into Avera Hospital.
Crews will be taking out the pavement and surfacing the area.
Drivers who usually head along 21st may want to find a new route for awhile. It will be closed through September.
