June 28, 2010, 7:43 AM

BELLE FOURCHE, SD - Butte County Sheriff Fred Lamphere says three people from Rapid City died in a canoeing accident on the Belle Fourche River.

Lamphere says the canoe went over a dam and was sucked into the turbulent waters below late Sunday morning.

The victims were identified as 38-year-old Jeramy Rogers, 11-year-old daughter Sierra Rogers and 26-year-old Andrew Korth, a family friend.

The only person to survive the accident - 8-year-old Isabella Rogers, another daughter - walked two hours to U.S. Highway 212 and flagged down a motorist.
