PIERRE, SD -
Shooting on a new film begins this week in South Dakota's badlands near Wall.
The movie "You Don't Know Bertha Constantine" is written and directed by Pierre native Andrew Kightlinger. The South Dakota Tourism Office describes the movie as an independent short film about the beauty of true love and the outrageous things it causes people to do.
Melissa Miller, director of the state Tourism Office, says the film is exciting because the cast and crew includes many people from South Dakota. She says she hopes the movie gets good reviews and causes the movie industry to have more interest in making films in South Dakota.
