Two Dead In Watertown Plane Crash
WATERTOWN, SD - Two people are dead in a small plane crash at the airport in Watertown, and authorities have released their names. Police say Chad Lamb, 37, and Eric Hopkins, 30, both of Watertown, were killed in the crash.

Watertown police say they responded to a 911 call at 1:30 p.m. Saturday that a plane had crashed at Watertown Regional Airport. Officers say two males are confirmed dead. Authorities say the plane is a light, single-engine citabria that seats two.

Police have secured the scene and are waiting for Federal Aviation Administration investigators to arrive and take over the investigation.

Authorities aren’t releasing any other information at this time.
